BRAND IDENTITY PROPOSAL

Prepared for [custom.clientName] at [custom.clientCompany]. This proposal outlines a strategic identity engagement built to define how your brand is recognized, remembered, and trusted across every touchpoint.

Personalized introduction

Hello Jordan Lee,
We understand that choosing a logo design partner is a meaningful decision. The identity created in this project will influence first impressions, internal alignment, launch materials, sales collateral, social presence, packaging, and future brand extensions. That is why this proposal is structured to show how the work will be developed, what is included, how feedback is managed, and what you will own at the end of the engagement.
Our role is to help translate positioning into a visual system that feels distinctive, commercially useful, and durable over time. We do this through a collaborative process that keeps your team involved at the points that matter, without creating unnecessary rounds, vague deliverables, or creative overload.
Strategic identity thinking
Collaborative workflow
Production-ready delivery
Project expectation: we recommend a focused review process so decisions stay clear, revision cycles stay productive, and the final identity remains aligned with the brief.
What this proposal covers
  • A structured four-step identity design process
  • A clear package of concepts, revisions, and final files
  • Optional add-ons for expanded brand support
  • Terms for ownership transfer, revisions, and payment timing

The 4-step collaborative logo design process

The process below is designed to keep the work strategic, efficient, and collaborative. Each stage has a clear purpose, a defined decision point, and a practical output that moves the project forward.
Understanding your brand
We begin with a discovery session to unpack core values, audience psychology, tone, market context, and brand positioning before visual development starts.
Concept development
We discuss the initial creative direction and develop 3 to 4 distinct concept routes, giving your team range without creating decision fatigue.
Concept review and revision
Selected directions are presented for review, collaborative feedback is gathered, and the chosen route is refined through structured revision cycles.
Final handover and copyright release
We prepare production-ready vector and raster files, then issue an official release granting full copyright ownership after final payment is received.
Stage detail
How collaboration is handled
  • Discovery is used to define the brief before concept work begins
  • Creative routes are curated to keep comparisons meaningful
  • Feedback is collected against agreed criteria, not personal taste alone
How momentum is protected
  • Review stages are time-boxed so progress stays visible
  • Revision rounds are structured to refine one selected route
  • Final files are released only after the agreed balance is cleared

Why work with us

This proposal format is built for studios that want to present logo design with the level of rigor it deserves. The value is not only in the final mark. It is in the clarity of the process, the originality of the thinking, and the usefulness of the identity after launch.
100% original craftsmanship
Every identity is developed from scratch by senior designers. No templates, stock marks, or recycled concept structures are used in the core design work.
Strategic alignment
The logo is built to express brand essence in a way your target market can recognize quickly and remember with confidence.
Transparent communication
Client involvement is active at each critical stage, so the project moves quickly without drifting away from the brief or the business context.
What the client receives in practice
  • A curated concept presentation rather than a large unfiltered batch
  • A logo system prepared for digital and print use
  • File formats suitable for production, launch, and future brand rollout
  • A clear handover that includes ownership transfer after final payment
A logo is one of the smallest assets in a brand system, but it often carries the first and strongest signal the market receives.

  • Ownership transfer: full intellectual property and sole commercial usage rights transfer to the client upon receipt of final payment.
  • Revision policy: the standard package includes the revision rounds stated in the pricing section. Additional concept creation, significant direction changes, or expanded deliverables are treated as out-of-scope work and quoted separately.
  • Payment schedule: 50% deposit is due upon signing. The remaining 50% is due prior to release of final source files and copyright transfer documents.
  • File release: production-ready vector and raster assets are delivered after the final balance has cleared.

Logo Design Proposal Template Overview

A logo project is often a client's first experience of working with a designer, and the proposal sets the tone. This logo design proposal covers the design process, number of concepts, revision rounds, and deliverables, so a graphic design proposal reads as a professional process rather than a vague promise of "a few logo options."

Once the process is clear, moving from interested to booked should be quick. Share the branding proposal template as a single link the client can open on any device, and let them approve and pay a deposit in the same place.
