Measurement basis
- CPM equals media cost divided by impressions, multiplied by 1,000. Estimated impressions should reflect quoted inventory and planned net spend.
- Reach is an estimate of unique people or households within each channel. Cross-channel reach should not be added without a deduplication method.
- CTR applies to clickable placements. CPA requires an agreed conversion event and attribution method; mark either metric N/A where it cannot be measured credibly.
- ROAS equals GA4-attributed online purchase revenue divided by the applicable measurable digital media spend, excluding agency fees. The illustrative target is 3.0x; report the attribution window and spend basis with each result.
Budget allocation and investment breakdown
- Digital and programmatic. Gross media budget: $100,000; management fee rate: 10% of net spend; net media spend: $90,000; total investment: $99,000. Net spend allocation: display/native $45,000, CTV/OTT $30,000, YouTube/VOD $15,000.
- Paid social. Gross media budget: $80,000; management fee rate: 10% of net spend; net media spend: $72,000; total investment: $79,200.
